Mam , one doubt ,Its suggested to avoid eating or drinking anything during the duration of eclipse period, as it is considered to be inauspicious. pls guide if its true –

Is it followed only on solar eclipse and lunar not much powerful for our body or health, pls clarify

In reply to @shashi2023a. We always follow to all eclipse.We finish eating few hours before itself.It is mainly for health reasons.Our ancestors never revealed scientific reasons. They made all like rituals, so that even a lay person can follow.Even un educated persons will oblige.
